This session will unpack the three “-ing” pillars of inclusive leadership: continuing to learn, modeling new ways of being, and storytelling your journey. Grassroots DEI efforts are critical, but we know that leaders are the drivers of behavior and culture within any organization. In this session, learn how to pivot away from the “DEI checklist” to bring DEI front and center in your leadership competencies. Discover best (and worst!) practices and resources where leaders can continue to develop their DEI capacity.

During this webinar, you will learn how to:

    • Take control of your own education.
    • Seize opportunities to model humility, vulnerability, and accountability.
    • Define your passion and drive around DEI and own your personal story.

There’s always going to be a vote to do more with more—more tools, more people, more goals, more distractions. Unfortunately, this translates into more responsibilities heaped onto already-full plates. When this happens, you’re told to “get a bigger plate,” which is where change fatigue and burnout come from.

The truth is that less is better. Fewer distractions equals more focus, which helps employees improve their performance and productivity. You don’t need an overstuffed tool stack to reach your goals; paring down the noise and focusing on what really moves the needle actually moves the needle. So, how do you clear out the clutter, and take things off your plate so you can focus, instead of getting a bigger plate?

During this webinar, you will gain insight into:

    • How to accomplish your goals without an overstuffed tool stack
    • How to shape your process and impact when initiatives are handed to you
    • Stretching already limited budgets further

Today, more than ever, there is a need to ensure that virtual learning works to improve organizational outcomes. Because of the surge in work-at-home arrangements and travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, most learning has shifted to a virtual format. This requires program owners to design virtual learning with desired outcomes in mind and demonstrate that the virtual format works.

Studies show that virtual learning often breaks down when measured at the application level (using what was learned) and impact level (the business impact connected to learning). However, this breakdown is avoidable. To secure the support and funding that virtual learning needs, it must deliver business results.

This session explains how designers, developers, providers, and program owners can ensure that technology-based learning delivers desired results by applying design thinking principles that focus on delivering application and impact.
