Addressing Burnout in the Learning Profession

As a burnout survivor and former HR executive, Dr. Allessandria Polizzi has seen both sides of the work burnout issue (and the very flawed and murky world that exists when you are searching for solutions). Through her experience, she has learned that the keys to burnout prevention are internal as well as external. In this session, we will cover:

  • The science of burnout

  • Common causes of burnout

  • Specific burnout risks in the Learning and Development function

  • High-level burnout risk assessment

  • 10 scientifically proven tactics for battling burnout

  • Deep-dive practice of the "YMCA" of resiliency

  • Integrating these practices into the learning experience
