CMATD presents:  The Intersection of Body Language & Emotional Intelligence

This session will explore how we can leverage tools that we all possess (yet, we often overlook!) to increase success during difficult conversations and presentations such as negotiations, pitches, interviewing & networking. This talk will align the four branches of the Mayer/Salovey model of Emotional Intelligence with research on the science of body language and introduce the concept of Emotive Agility®.

Join Berit for this dynamic session and you'll learn:

  • 3 simple ways to enhance your presence and make your desired first impression
  • The biggest misconceptions about Emotional Intelligence...and what you need to know about it to be successful in any conversation
  • Tips to align your nonverbal communication with your words and intentions to convey authentic confidence under pressure

Berit Elizabeth coaches individuals and leaders in organizations to develop Emotive Agility® as a key quality for leadership, personal development, and enhanced people skills in the workplace. She holds degrees in Social Psychology & Theatrical Directing from Carnegie Mellon and New York University. Berit has 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, including as National Director of Operations for a multi-unit fitness company. She is certified in the Mayer Salovey Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test and as a body language trainer through The Science of People.
