New Leadership Tactics: Managing Four Generations
Traditionalist, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers, Generation Ys/Millennials
A major challenge over the next decade will be to attract, retain, and develop talent as the labor market continues to tighten, technology continues to evolve, and the economy constantly fluctuates. Organizations find themselves managing four generations within the workplace from Traditionalist, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers, to Generation Ys/Millennials. Each generation has its own distinct characteristics, values, and attitudes toward work.
